Dr. Ing. Neslihan Yanikömer
Postdoctoral Researcher
Dr. Neslihan Yanıkömer is a postdoctoral researcher in the Nuclear Safeguards and Security Division at Forschungszentrum Jülich. Within VeSPoTec, she works on developing innovative concepts for arms control and disarmament verification. She has also recently begun contributing to the development of statistical methods for safeguards under the IAEA German MSSP (Member State Support Programme). She holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and is a fellow of the IAEA Lise Meitner Programme. Her research interests include arms control and disarmament verification, and safeguards analytics.
