Dr. Ing. Neslihan Yanikömer
Postdoctoral Researcher
Neslihan Yanikömer is a postdoctoral researcher in the Nuclear Safeguards and Security division at the IEK-6, Research Center Jülich. Her path in the nuclear field commenced during her postgraduate studies in Radiation Science and Technology at Istanbul Technical University. To delve deeper into the intricate domain of radiation science and nuclear safety, she chose RWTH Aachen University to pursue her doctoral degree.
In VeSPoTec, her focus lies on employing a systems-based approach in nuclear disarmament verification. Within this scope, her primary role is to contribute to the team in the further development of concepts and modelling.
